According to rahnam news agency, this year in the music and theater department, figures such as Hossein Khaja Amiri (Iraj) and Mohammad Cheramshir were honored.
The second awarding ceremony of Hafez Theater and Music statue was held with the presence of famous artists and figures in the field of music and theater such as Gladab Adina, Pejman Bazghi, Hossein Khaja Amiri, Amir Tajik, Hossein Masafir Astane, Nasim Adabi, Mohammad Rahmanian, Mohammad Cheramshir, etc.
The performance of the ceremony was performed by Najma Jodaki. Ehsan Hajipour, the secretary of the theater department, was the first speaker of the ceremony. Pooya Afshari, the secretary of the music department, as the second speaker, thanked the teacher’s family for continuing to work as the department secretary for the second year. Ehsan Hajipour and Pooya Afshari, as the secretaries of the theater and music departments, presented a report of the works that were sent to the secretariat.
Omid Moalem, the secretary of the ceremony who founded this annual banquet in the memory and name of his father, said: “I want to thank the artists and the people of theater and music, the people of culture in this land. Once again we showed that the culture of this land cannot be removed. I am happy that there are those who care about the culture and art of this land.”
In the continuation of the ceremony, Hamidreza Naimi was awarded the golden Hafez plaque. In a speech, Hamidreza Naimi praised the art of theater: “I don’t just love theater, I don’t think it’s the only one, I breathe theater….I’m grateful for theater more than I should and maybe.”
One of the interesting parts of the ceremony was the honoring of the old singer and master of Iranian singing, Iraj (Hossein Khaja Amiri), in which Salar Aghili was called to honor him. In a part of his speech, Iraj said about age: “My age is beyond singing. I am 94 years old. But my voice is still there.”
Hamid Amjad, the statue of Hafez, won the best playwright for “Waqt Khush”. He mentioned his long-time friendship with Ali Moalem, who was a classmate since university.
Homayoun Shajarian and Alireza Ghorbani, Behnam Bani, Sadaf Espahbedi, Gersha Rezaei, Alireza Talischi were among the winners of the Hafez statue.
