The rent that has a currency of 28 thousand tomans for paper / the import limit of some products is lower than the market needs – rahnam

Seyyed Hasan Mirbagheri, the head of the paper and cardboard importers association, in an interview with the cultural reporter of rahnam news agency, referring to the state of paper imports, said: despite all the problems and issues that exist in the import of goods in the country, with the coordination of the country’s cellulose chain, since the beginning of this year, the policy of all Paper chain activists have been moving towards systematic and stable planning in the market.

He continued: In this regard, we also negotiated with the Ministry of Security, and with the coordination and cooperation with this ministry, this year was one of the few years of ups and downs in the field of paper, the situation in the market is also calm, despite the fact that for the beginning of the academic year, the volume The requested paper is increasing, we did not have any problems in the supply of paper in the past months, in general, this year paper has passed the year without a crisis.

Mir Bagheri stated: Last year, the price of each bundle of paper increased by more than 1,700,000 tomans, even though the exchange rate was lower, but due to wrong policies, traders could not plan for imports, as a result, paper became expensive. .

He stated that this year, after consulting with traders, consumers and producers, we came to the conclusion that we will either not import the products that are produced domestically or very little, he said: for example, the papers needed in We did not import cartons or brown papers that are related to packaging and instead imported glossy paper and paper pulp. In this regard, efforts were made to remove Akhal import monopoly.

According to Mir Bagheri, the import of garbage is the monopoly of groups that have a purification system in factories, but when everyone can collect garbage (waste of paper and cardboard) from the city, there is no legal obstacle, why should there be restrictions on its import? Is there a law?

He continued: We are facing problems in the field of importing raw materials for paper production in two areas, the first is the matter of pulp and the second is the matter of pulp and paper, which we have to register and record in advance, and finally we can import up to 85% of the previous import. This is while there is a great need for filling and pulp of dough and there is a shortage in this field. On the other hand, in the field of thermal paper (paper that is used in cooking devices) and FBB cardboard (which is used in the manufacture of pharmaceutical and food packaging), we can only import up to the same ceiling of 85%, while the market needs more. It is from this and we demand that the government agree to increase this ceiling to 125%.

Mir Bagheri pointed out that some people are dissatisfied with the stability in the paper market and are looking for multi-rate import currency, but we importers along with paper sellers and printers and printers are against the 28 thousand and 500 tomans currency, because we have this currency at our disposal. Not all importers are included and this causes rent, the same semi-currency is about 40 thousand tomans if it is facilitated and available to everyone. Problems are solved to some extent.

In the end, he said: According to the emphasis of the Cellulose Office of the Ministry of Security regarding the supply of paper needed for the upcoming elections, necessary arrangements have been made with the merchants regarding the import and supply of this product.
