Hemmati became a candidate of the Brokers Party in the 1400 elections, but until the days leading up to the brokers election, he stood next to the head of the central bank of Rouhani’s government, and with 8% of the votes, he stood in third place after Ebrahim Raisi and Mohsen Rezaei.
There are two months left until the 12th parliament elections and the reform front is still in hibernation, but parties such as brokers, moderation and development and call of Iranians are trying not to lose the competition.
