This is the second speech of the Secretary General of Hezbollah since the beginning of the Al-Aqsa storm operation.
Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah said at the beginning of his speech on the occasion of the Martyr’s Day and the anniversary of the martyrdom of “Ahmad Qusayr”, that today the cities of Lebanon witnessed the burial of a number of Lebanese martyrs, Martyr’s Day is the day of all the martyrs of Hezbollah.
The Secretary General of Hezbollah emphasized that Martyr’s Day was named after the great operation of martyr Ahmed Qusayr on November 11, during which more than a hundred Zionist soldiers were killed in the martyrdom attack of Ahmad Qusayr on a Zionist building, and Israel announced three days of public mourning. . This operation, which was carried out by martyr Ahmed Qasir, started a period of martyrdom operations against the Israeli occupation forces and has always been noticed due to its results and is the biggest operation in the history of resistance against the Zionist enemy.
Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah clarified, here we want to emphasize that martyrdom is the creator of victories, as Imam Khomeini (RA) described the martyrdom of Imam Hussein on the day of Ashura as the victory of blood over the sword, for this reason our martyrs also over the sword of Americans and Israelis. And our enemies have won. When we talk about our martyrs, we say that they were martyred in the way of God and have a great spiritual privilege. Martyrs have a very great cultural and spiritual place in our culture, as the Almighty God honors them and the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and the Messenger of God consider them great in their hadiths.
Hezbollah Secretary General added, we always feel the blessings of these martyrs in Lebanon and our region and we see this impact in our lives, security, dignity and stability. This is how we see our martyrs, our martyrs were people of faith and insight, and they recognized the right path and did the right thing at the right time. Our martyrs were responsible, patient, devoted, and sincere. Our current fighters and Mujahideen are like this, as are the families of the martyrs, and they share in the achievements and victories.
The leader of the Islamic resistance of Lebanon further stated that the families of the martyrs are always the leading force in this Jihadi path and today they are still influential in shaping the future of our nation, our sanctities and our region. This year’s Martyr’s Day has coincided with major and dangerous events in the region, Palestine and Gaza.
Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah emphasized that two major incidents have occurred in the current events, especially in the Gaza Strip. The first incident is Israel’s aggression against the people and residents of Gaza, which targets all civilians. The second incident is the heroic resistance of Palestine against the aggression of the enemy. In the context of the first case, it should be said that many war crimes and brutalities have been committed in a besieged area where more than 2 million people live, and these violations have continued since October 7, and the Zionists have not respected anyone. The Zionists have made open and public attacks on Gaza hospitals and are making false excuses in this regard.
The Secretary General of Hezbollah said that a large number of Palestinians have been martyred, most of whom are children and women. This painful incident and these great crimes are part of the revenge of the Zionist regime, which knows no boundaries and does not adhere to any legal, moral, or human standards. This shows the nature of the Zionist regime. But the second part that I want to focus more on and which a number of Zionist officials have also admitted is the Palestinian resistance, which is very important to understand.
He stated that the Zionists have emphasized that these killings are done with a purpose and are not just a reaction and revenge. One of the main goals that the enemy wants to achieve is not the surrender of Gaza, but the surrender of all the nations of the region, including the Palestinian and Lebanese nations and the Arab nations. The enemy’s goal is to destroy the stability of the resistance and create a culture of submission among the Arab countries. Israel wants to tell the Palestinians that they should forget their land and sanctuaries and get out of their own land.
