The football players of Slovácko drew 2:2 with Olomouc in the third round of the league extension in the group for the title. The home team took the lead at the end of the first half with a goal by Stanislav Hofmann, Denis Ventúra replied for Hanáky in the 50th minute and substitute Pavel Zifčák turned the score around in half an hour. Another substitute Jan Kalabiška secured a point for the team from Uherské Hradiště in the 85th minute.
Due to the loss of Bohemians 1905 at Sparta 1:2, both of today’s opponents still have hope for the final fourth place, ensuring participation in the second preliminary round of the European Conference League. Fifth Slovácko got 49 points just like Bohemians, but the “Klangaros” have the advantage of a better position in the table after the regular season. Sixth Olomouc loses four points to both rivals.
In the ninth minute, Olomouc’s best scorer Chytil pulled past the home goalkeeper Nguyen. However, Slovácko was able to eliminate Hanák’s further offensive attempts and took control of the match. During the rest of the game, both teams tried to score a second goal, and in the 80th minute the Hanáci scored it. A long kick into the penalty area found substitute Zifčák, who beat Ngyuen. But Slovácko did not lay down their weapons, Vecheta tapped the ball to Kalabišek in five minutes, whose shot hit the post of Macík’s goal.
Another goal was not scored in an interesting finish, Slovácko did not lose in the league with Olomouc for the ninth time in a row and played a third draw in extra time. After an unexpected 3:1 win in Pilsen, Sigma scored for the second time.
