Tennis player Nick Kyrgios has helped police catch a man who allegedly stole his car from his Canberra home.
According to Australian ABC television, he tracked his location through a mobile app.
The suspected man was brought before a court in the Australian capital today. He faces five charges, including armed robbery, driving a stolen car and failing to stop for police, according to the ABC.
According to court documents, the man pointed a gun at Kyrgios’ mother, Norlaila, and demanded the car’s remote control.
The mother of last year’s Wimbledon finalist called the police after the thief left, who set up a roadblock to catch the suspect.
The man was arrested in Canberra approximately half an hour after the alleged attack.
