The weekend will warm up significantly in the Czech Republic, with daytime temperatures ranging between 14 and 18 degrees. Showers are expected in most areas on Saturday. Ground frosts may occasionally occur on Friday morning. This follows from the forecast of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute.
On Thursday morning, meteorologists expected ground freezing. “Minimum temperatures in the morning were around plus one degree Celsius. In the afternoon, temperatures will rise to 10 to 14 degrees. The sky will be mostly cloudy during the day on Thursday, and partly cloudy later in the afternoon and evening,” said meteorologists.
On Friday it will be cloudy to overcast, it will rain from the west. The lowest night temperatures will drop to four degrees to zero, ground frosts may occasionally occur. During the day, however, temperatures rise to 12 to 16 degrees.
It will be about two degrees warmer on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, showers and occasional thunderstorms are expected in most areas. In the afternoon and evening, clouds and precipitation will decrease from the west. It will be ten to six degrees at night, 14 to 18 degrees during the day.
On Sunday, it will be mostly cloudy, with occasional showers. Night temperatures will range between eight and four degrees, daytime temperatures will be the same as Saturday.
According to meteorologists, the warm spring weather will last until Monday. In the next week, it will cool down and the daily temperatures will gradually drop to 9 to 13 degrees.
