After a warm weekend, it will cool down slightly in the first half of the week. On Thursday night temperatures will drop below freezing in some places and it may snow in the mountains. The sky will be cloudy with showers throughout the week. At the end of the week and at the weekend, meteorologists expect warming. It will be up to 19 degrees. It follows from the weekly forecast on the website of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute.
Despite the cooling, according to meteorologists, temperatures will remain normal for the second half of April. “We won’t enjoy the sun much on Monday, in addition to that it will rain in most of the area, it may even storm somewhere,” they said on Twitter. The highest daily temperatures rise to 12 to 16 degrees, in the mountains it will be around eight degrees. Rainy and cloudy weather will continue on Tuesday, when temperatures in Bohemia will rise to a maximum of 13 degrees, in Moravia it will be up to 15 degrees Celsius.
The coldest of the week will be on Wednesday, when temperatures will settle at 12 degrees Celsius, and Thursday night, which could be freezing in some places. Temperatures will drop to minus three degrees. It may snow again on Thursday in the mountains.
However, it will gradually warm up from the middle of the week and the precipitation will temporarily decrease on Thursday. On Friday, it will be cloudy to overcast again, with occasional rain or showers from the west, occasional thunderstorms. But temperatures climb up to 18 degrees Celsius. Meteorologists predict a similar type of weather for the weekend as well, but temperatures will still rise slightly. It will be between 14 and 19 degrees Celsius.
