In contrast to other countries, nuclear energy has above-average support among the general public. Nationwide polls show support for the core of around 65 percent, in Třebíčsk it is 80 to 85 percent. No one in the world has that much support. According to estimates, the monstrous construction of the fifth block of the Dukovany nuclear power plant will attract around five thousand people to Třebíčsko and will bring many opportunities.
