Passengers getting off the plane at the international airport in the third largest city of Mexico, Guadalajara, could feel a strange jolt. Out of nowhere, a catering truck crashed into the plane, causing damage to the rear part of the plane’s fuselage. The accident was caught on video by industrial cameras.

The Airbus A320, operated by low-cost airline Viva Aerobus, had just arrived from Mexico City International Airport to Guadalajara International Airport when the unexpected accident occurred.
After the plane stopped, passengers started getting off it and the staff was already preparing the plane for its next journey. But at that moment, a catering vehicle unexpectedly rushed to the tail of the plane and crashed into it. Airport officials said that as a result of the impact, the plane was checked and repaired, but then temporarily taken out of service.
“We have allocated another aircraft with the registration number XA-VAY to this route so that passengers can complete their journey as soon as possible. We regret the inconvenience this circumstance may have caused to some scheduled flights,” Viva Aerobus, which is now investigating the accident, said in a statement .
