Several radical believers in the Philippines again underwent the traditional ritual of nailing to a cross on Good Friday, imitating the suffering of Jesus Christ. The custom, which attracts thousands of believers and tourists, although the Catholic Church does not take kindly to it, has returned after a three-year hiatus forced by the covid-19 pandemic.
